Founded by Ryan Hogan, a certified BeaverCorps Beaver Wetlands Professional, Beaverwise was born from a love of wildlife and a desire to help landowners protect their property — without resorting to unnecessary conflict or removal. Our mission is simple: get wise about beavers.
Our Story
It all started with a few flooded culverts and a lot of curious beavers. Over time, what began as problem-solving for neighbors grew into a full-service approach to humane, effective, and lasting beaver management.
We quickly realized that with the right tools, knowledge, and a touch of humor, people and beavers can coexist peacefully. Today, Beaverwise combines field expertise, local knowledge, and proven strategies to keep ponds, streams, and property working in harmony.
